Stay & play, the bathhouse weekend, and the winter rate
These are hotel packages: a room, some meals, and access to what the house has. Everything below is a total price for the stay described, for two people, including breakfast and GST. Nothing here is a gambling promotion — where a package includes gaming lounge access or a fixed amount of casino credit, that is a hotel inclusion with a dollar value on it and no strings attached to it whatsoever.
Ring +64 7 575 4186 to book any of them, or send the form.

Two nights in an Ocean Room, dinner for two at Moturiki Kitchen on one of them, and a NZ$50 complimentary gaming credit for The Beacon Room. Because it includes gaming lounge access, every guest on the booking must be 20 or over.

Friday and Saturday in a Moturiki Room, with a sixty-minute treatment each at The Saltwater Bathhouse, unlimited use of the plunge pools and the steam room, and a bottle of Gisborne chardonnay in the room when you arrive.

Three nights or more between the first of June and the end of August, at a third off the nightly rate. Winter here is the good secret: the beach is empty, the base track is at its best, and the bar has a fire lit from about five.

One night in an Ocean Room and a table for two at Moturiki Kitchen — three courses, with the wine matched by the person who wrote the list. For people who want the dinner to be the point and not have to drive home from it.

There is no printed package for these because no two are the same. What we can tell you is the shape of it: The Matakana Room seats 140 for dinner or 190 standing, The Omanu Room takes 40 theatre-style or 24 around tables, and Boardroom No. 2 holds 12 with a screen at the end. Day delegate rates start at NZ$78 a head including lunch at Moturiki Kitchen and two breaks.
For weddings we hold the whole ground floor, which means The Matakana Room, the terrace and the courtyard, and we do not book two on the same day. Room blocks of ten or more get a rate that depends on the season — ask, and it will be a real number rather than a range.
The Beacon Room can be included as an evening element for adult-only groups. It is a room booking with a bar tab, not a gambling promotion, and everyone going in still shows photo ID at the door.
Two of the packages above include something to do with The Beacon Room. We are deliberately careful with these. The credit is a set amount, it expires with the stay, and nobody at this hotel will encourage you to spend past it.
If gaming is a problem for you, the honest advice is to book the Bathhouse Weekend or the Winter Rate instead — and to tell reception, who can bar you from the room for the length of your stay.
